What we offer

Europe External Policy Advisors (EEPA) is a centre of expertise of the EU's external policies based in Brussels. EEPA’s expertise includes the ability to develop political approaches based on strategic analyses of the issues concerned.
EEPA implements research and provides analyses, participates in and offers advice to campaigns. EEPA is also an ‘ear on the ground’ in Brussels for organisations that like specific issues to be monitored on a regular basis. On a case-by-case basis and when specifically requested to do so, EEPA is also able to provide representation of its clients in Brussels. Furthermore, its wide range of contacts within the European Union institutions enables EEPA to provide a unique access into the decision-making bodies of EU policies.
EEPA’s specialist areas of expertise include the following:

- Research
- Lobbying and advocacy strategies
- Strategic consultation
- Representation
- Liaison
- Facilitation of meetings, launches and press conferences

EEPA works on a wide variety of subjects related to the EU's external policies including its legal frameworks, the budget, programming, specific policy areas related to children's rights, gender, allocation criteria and the development of tools to measure the impact of the EU's policies. As a service-oriented organisation, it is EEPA's role to enable and strengthen the visibility of its clients. EEPA is both politically and financially independent and as such does not look to increase its own visibility in the work it undertakes for its clients. The question which is most central to EEPA’s approach is: What are your needs? It is a not-for-profit organisation and is able to provide services for reduced fees in special circumstances.
EEPA offers regular places to interns, volunteers and trainees, in the form of on-the-job training programmes in areas related to European development policy. Those working with EEPA come from a variety of countries both within and outside the European Union.
