Wednesday 31 January.  The South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication has raised concerns about the quality of the EU's draft Country Strategy Papers.  Based on an analysis by civil society actors from the South Asian countries SAAPE has raised its concerns in a letter to Neena Gill MEP, Chair of the European Parliament's Delegation on the EU's relations with countries in South Asia.  In the letter the SAAPE coordinator, Dr. Arjun Karki, urges the Parliament to get the draft CSPs reconsidered before they are adopted.  See letter.
